Prompt #106 for Creative Therapy: Where did you grow up ?

I grew up in Hollywood and even though some people would think that it was a scary place for a child to grow up in , Im sure that most kids who have grown up in this town would say it wasn't that bad , you learned how to watch your back and be very streetwise . I have good memories and scary memories but I did survive it and I wouldn't have it any other way because it is what made me who I am today . Im not only a strong woman that has learned through the , " Place where people come to make their dreams come true " , but also I have met the people on the street , whether they be the homeless and the runaways in Hollywood , it made me a very humble person , and I always tried to help them or give advice and in return they would give me their advice as well . I also remember and they are still their today is the very interesting Scientologist ! Very strange yet I respect them at the same time , but I always found as I grew up , that I had to tell them to back off , because I wasn't a lost soul , even though they would have liked to think so because I was in my 80's rock n roll clothes with my scary concert t-shirts .

Im glad Im from Hollywood! wouldn't change anything about where I grew up , thanks for stopping by . : P

  1. It's me, Kuma. I had to use Makiko's google account to add this comment.

I would like to share the same thought as you do. I don't know if I could say that I grew up there in Hollywood, but it is very far from where I am from and now to be. I am very lucky to have met Dave, who is a real Hollywood homeboy. He shared his important time with me and even though I had to leave there for the longest time, I always feel you guys are not too far.

Yeah, I was in 80's R&R, wearing just like those 80's, and lived & survived through today.
